Everything you need to know about Twitch panel sizes.

Are you looking to add some awesome-looking Twitch panels to your channel but not sure what the right sizes are for your Twitch panels?

We’re here to help.

In this article, we’re going to tell you what sizes your Twitch panels should be and also answer a few other common questions around Twitch panels.

Let’s jump in.

Jump to a specific section:

Twitch Panel Sizes

The ideal Twitch panel sizes are the following:

  • 320 x 160 pixels

That’s the typical panel dimensions but you can actually make your panels as tall as you want, as long as the width is 320 pixels.

Also, when you’re creating your Twitch panels, keep the following in mind:

  • Keep them on brand and consistent – make them all the same style
  • Keep them simple and clean
  • Create them for important things you want to share with your audience (more on this later)
  • Make them JPG or PNG format
  • The maximum file size per panel is 2.9 MB
  • Keep the content of your panels within Twitch’s community guidelines to ensure there are no issues

If you want to make your panels super crisp on any device, consider making them double the required dimensions (e.g. 640 x 320px instead of 320 x 160px)

And that’s it! If you follow those size and formatting guidelines you should be able to add your Twitch panels with no problems.

What are Twitch panels?

You’re here to find out the ideal Twitch panel size so we’re going to assume you already know what a Twitch panel is.

However, if you don’t know here’s a quick explanation for you…

Twitch panels are graphics that appear on the about page of your Twitch channel. They’re typically used to segment information about you and make it easy for channel visitors to get to know you and your stream.

You can see an example of Twitch panels in action on Ninja’s Twitch channel in the image below:

Why should you add custom Twitch panels to your channel?

When people go to your Twitch channel, one of the first things that they are going to come across is your Twitch panels so it’s important to have panels that give new visitors all the vital information.

They also let you reinforce your brand and allow you to direct visitors to other platforms and areas that are important to you. For example, your other social profiles, and your merch store.

It’s also a great place to convince regular visitors to subscribe to your channel.

What panels should have?

Another good question, and one that is somewhat subjective!

It all depends on your own personal preferences really but most channels use these common Twitch panels listed below:
