#1 Placeit
Placeit takes the number spot as it as it currently has more to offer than all the other online mockup generators when it comes to embroidery mockups.
Their library of embroidery mockup templates dwarfs all the other tools, with over 500 at the time of writing and this includes embroidery mockup videos too (over 10 of them).
At the moment, Placeit has realistic embroidery mockups with beanie hats, polo shirts, snapbacks, and other products too. As well as having a variety of mockup that feature different genders, ethnicities, ages, and plenty more variations.

Next up is Smart Mockups which is another extremely easy to use online mockup generator with a solid range of embroidery mockup templates (70+ at the time of writing).
They also offer a few free embroidery mockup templates on the site as well (4 at the time of writing). Perfect if you want to try out the tool before signing up for a paid account.
Unlike Placeit, Smart Mockups embroidery templates cover a narrow range as they only offer polo shirt embroidery mockups. What’s on offer is great quality though.
Smart Mockups also offers paid subscribers the ability to turn their own images into mockups so if you have plenty of high quality photos that you could turn into embroidery mockups this could be a great option for you.

#3 Renderforest
In at number 3 we have Renderforest which is an online design tool that lets you create a range of assets including logos, videos, and even websites. They also have their own mockup generator with over 50 embroidery mockups.
The embroidery mockups on Renderforest cover a few different product types including clothing labels, polo shirts, and hats. So, if you’re looking to create mockups featuring any of these products it well worth checking out.
Like all the other mockup generators in the list Renderforest is incredibly quick and easy to use. So, if do use the tool you’ll have embroidery mockups ready to go in a flash.

Next up is Artboard Studio which doesn’t have a huge library of embroidery mockup templates (10+ at the time of writing) but what’s on offer is good quality.
The embroidery mockup range on Artboard Studio includes hats and polo shirts. However, they also allow users to create custom scenes. You can add additional elements to a blank canvas or an existing template to create thousands of scene variations with different items, backgrounds, filters, and more.
Artboard Studio also has plenty of customization options and mockup templates covering many other categories so it’s well worth trying out.

#5 Media Modifier
Media Modifier is another online mockup tool that makes creating embroidery mockups a total breeze.
They currently don’t have a huge range of embroidery mockups compared with some of other tools, with just over 10 at the time of writing, and what’s on offer is okay but doesn’t typically create an amazing looking embroidered effect.
They have embroidery mockup templates featuring polo shirts, hats, and a cross stitch mockup. Hopefully, they keep adding more templates and improve the embroidered effect.
They do have plenty of other great mockups covering various other categories so it’s still worth checking out.

#6 Vexels
Last up we have Vexels which offers users the ability to create mockups online with their mockup generator and also download mockups from their PSD mockup library range.
They currently have 5 embroidery mockups available via their mockup generator, and these are all templates featuring hats. Like Media Modifier, the embroidered effect isn’t fantastic at the moment.
Vexels has a few PSD embroidery mockups that are the mostly the same as the options available through their mockup generator. They also have thousands of mockups covering other categories such as t-shirts, tote bags, phone case mockups, and other merch-focused mockups.
